Passetti Power Tools began trading in 1972 as a division of
A. Passetti Electrical & Mechanical Engineering, that up to then offered a service through their rewinding division, repairing & rewinding power tools in a small way.
A new power tool division was started with one man, which soon expanded to two when a helper was appointed. In Midyear, 1972 they were appointed an official service station for sales, spares & repairs for
Black & Decker.
As new brands made their appearance on the SA market, they expanded to Hitachi, Makita, Metabo, AEG, Bosch, De Walt and most other established makes including Milwakee, Martlet, Maktec, Festool, Testo & Elektra Beckum.
